Before- and After-School Child Care, Early Childhood Enrichment (ECE) Programs for 4-year-olds,School Break Camps and Summer Camps  

The Washington Elementary School District is proud to offer high quality licensed before and after school childcare for K-8 students at 22 locations and ECE programs for 4-year-olds at 7 locations! We also offer camps from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during school breaks. Quality care is essential to children’s development. We look forward to providing your child a fun, safe and nurturing environment under the care of fingerprinted and background checked WESD staff. Child safety is a top priority and high standards are present at every site. At KidSpace, we offer a wide range of high quality and fun activities that build on educational experiences.

NOTE: KidSpace participants must be toilet trained to utilize any KidSpace Program.

Please use the link below to request a contract for care. You will be prompted to create an Account during this process. This will take approximately 30 minutes.

Once completed, you can manage your account online. 

All KidSpace registrations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis when registration opens.  Every year each program requires a new registration submission.  Contracts will be approved based on available space at each location.  

Summer camp registration opened on March 23, 2026

 Camp will be held at Two Locations

Lookout MOUNTAIN (15 W. CORAL GABLES) AND IRONWOOD (14850 N. 39TH AVE) FROM MAY 26 - JULY 31, 2026 (NO KIDSPACE MAY 20-22). 

THIS IS A PICK YOUR WEEK CAMP (HOURS 6:30AM - 6:00PM)

• $160 per week per child

• $135 per week (older sibling or WESD employee)

School Year 2026-2027

Registration opened on Friday, April 17th, 2026 at 6:30am. All KidSpace registrations will be approved on a first come, first served basis when registration opens. Every year each program requires a NEW registration submission. Contracts will be approved based on available space at each location. Waitlist do not roll over from year to year. 


KidSpace AM/PM Child Care School Year 26-27

School Year 2026-2027 registration opens for all KidSpace locations on 4/17/26. Registrations will be accepted until sites become full. SPACE IS LIMITED!
